Pom Pom Cowl Hood

Knitting Needle Size: 17
Yarn: Sensations Superlana Pink, Bulky 6
&  Red Heart Boutique Fizzle Cranberries

Stitches Used: Knit

Start the cowl by casting on 26 stitches, knit and turn
each row until you have 93 rows or approximately 36 inches,
when stretched. Cast off.


Crochet Hook Size:  I used a size G, whatever works for you.
Yarn: Red Heart Boutique Fizzle, Cranberries
Stitches Used:  Slip stitch

You will add the ruffle while your project is still flat and
join the ends together afterwards.

Lay your scarf out flat and long side towards you.
Open out the Fizzle yarn, fold over at the 3rd opening loop at
the top of your yarn and lay on top of your scarf.

Put your crochet hook thru the first crochet stitch and then pick up the 3rd open loop on the Fizzle yarn. Pull Fizzle yarn through the first crochet stitch.

Next take hold of your Fizzle yarn and put your hook thru the next loop from the front. Pick up the next loop from the front as well. Pull the 2nd loop thru all the loops on your crochet hook. Repeat to the end.

To fasten off, cut Fizzle yarn off the skein about 2 inches away from the end of your stitching. I then cut Fizzle yarn in the center and pull the top end through the last stitch.

Stitch the ends together on the top of the cowl, to finish off.
